Hello

One of the things I love about crochet - have I ever mentioned that I love crochet? ;-) - is how little you need to make something very cute. Pretty much yarn, hook, darning needle, stitch marker & scissors. It's a far more inexpensive hobby than embroidery that's for sure. I feel ready to tackle the crochet kit my friend gave me a few weeks ago now. Made me feel good when I read the instructions and they made total sense.

I was disappointed that the live coverage of the athletics wasn't on the BBC Sport page this morning, I'd been looking forward to it. We won our first gold medal in the women's half marathon too, would have enjoyed seeing that live. It's a bit sad that athletics seems to be getting pushed out of the limelight somewhat, hope the Olympics coverage is better. I don't feel as though I get as much out of the license fee these days as a lot of people do.
