Bude junior triathlon

The family all went to watch and cheer on Darcy in her triathlon.
So far she hasn't managed to finish higher than 4th in a full triathlon.
We weren't expecting too much, as the swim was in the sea pool and it was blowing a hooley, it was quite choppy and she had never swum 100 metres in the sea before. We were all so proud of her when she finished it swimming front crawl all the way. She did better on the bike and running legs.
Impossible to know where she came as there were different age groups all running.
At prize giving we were surprised but very proud to find out she was 1st in her age group.
