It’s open gardens in town and we’ve spent a pleasant few hours meandering and nosing… some we’ve visited before and some new ones. This is our blacksmith’s latest sculpture ( he has one in the Abbey grounds to commemorate the fallen animals of war)

We bought a few plants and chatted to other hobby gardeners, my biggest problem is how to beat the slugs who love my hostas!
