I popped over to see Max's "mum" today for a chinwag and coffee.
Dear Max is getting very old and deaf.  Normally he hears me after a while but today he was so snug in his bed in the kitchen that he never woke up to say hello! 
It's been a pleasant day - a bit of a nippy wind, but otherwise the sun has shone and the rain stayed away, so I did water a few plants and filled the birds bath.
