Delhi -14
This morning I told my mum again that I am leaving and she was in tears. The separation is hard for both me and her. So i tried to calm her down and made some silly jokes to make her laugh. I warned my father against his abusive behaviour as well. He said his episodes have decreased but who knows. He kindly washed the turban again. I had ordered a protein powder for him so he is able to regain some of the muscles he is losing.
I had chatted with my sister and he was visibly irked, anxious and frustrated of my father, money, and handling things on her own. All were justified. I could not calm my sister. But I gave her a very tight hug as I left. I just want all of the happiness in the world for her.
My sister had kindly called the cab for me. The cab driver was a young guy who lives near the airport. He was chatty throughout the journey. I liked his personality and his offer of dropping and picking up from the airport during my Delhi runs for less money. But my sister mentioned that the guy forgot to end the ride after dropping me off at the airport and ended the ride at a very area. Which led to a 400 Rupees increase in the fare.
Airport was OK. The immigration officers at the Delhi airport asked me thrice what did I study and how come I didn’t wear my headphones. Strange chat & chap. And security guy forced me to push my trays insider the radiation machine despite me located at a different angle.
