A lovely long day on paths with a few tracks. Horses and their bells, hazy sunshine and still air. Mid afternoon second picnic on top of one of Franco’s gun emplacements- see main pic. Met a couple of ladies from near Barcelona hiking the first part of the GR11. In town - setting for the Baztan trilogy books and films - I enjoyed a short wander, beers, pizza and Friday night live music entertainment - see extra.
