Reflections of a Tree

During the April deluge this large tree became jammed at our crossing. (Mr isbi blipped it as an extra).
Our neighbour cut the roots back to make the road passable.
Of course the authorities haven't turned up to remove it and in last week's downpour it moved nearer the edge of the creek. No doubt the next flood will carry it further downstream to become someone else's problem.

I took this on the way back from the RFS AGM at the fire shed.
I'm still hobbling around on crutches and was able to make an appointment online to see the GP on Wednesday. Spending half a day waiting in Casualty/A&E did not appeal.
