Keeping watch

I don't know this dog's name. He has a very loud bark but I suspect is not as fierce as he wants to appear. Maisie and several other small dogs I know avoid him by making sure we cross the road well before his house. Today Maisie was busy inspecting something important on the other side of the path, so she didn't see him, and without eye contact he just decided to leave without his usual warning/greeting. What a handsome boy though.
