D Day ceremony

I hadn’t realised anything was happening today so was surprised to see wreaths being laid at the war memorial. I was walking into town with my brother J, who is visiting us for a few days when we heard the ceremony taking place. We stopped and listened. I had come into town with J so he could help me to check out the venues for the music festival that starts next Sunday. A number of events are happening in Sedbergh School so I wanted to find out where they were. I spent the rest of the day cooking dinner and chatting… I’m pleased to say dinner was delicious :-)
