Little Keegan's Gonna be a Daddy

We have been in our current house since 1989. 35 years.

For a big part of those 35 years, Barry and Melissa have been our neighbors, and Keegan was born 20 years ago. We joked today that it took 5-6 years before he would even speak to us. A "Hello Keegan" would just get us a blank stare.

But that all started to change when he had to come over to pick up Lisa's chocolate chip cookies. It almost seemed like he could smell them cooking, and...he would talk.

We picked up our other neighbor Juanita to go to the baby shower. I mildly protested going, but it wasn't bad. Food was good and plentiful, AND (this is huge) we didn't have to play any baby shower games.

Hard to believe that little Keegan is going to be a daddy. I hope everything goes well for them.
