In the pond

I needed to find out how deep the pond was. So step one was to buy some waders. Step two, go into the pond, wander around and hopefully not get swallowed by the deep or eaten by a hidden small cousin of Nessie.
Good news is that there were no monsters and overall it’s about 90cm deep. So alls well that ends well!
This is the excitingly named floating-leaved pondweed, Potamogeton natans.
