Fox & Cubs

.... except this one is still keeping its cubs hidden!

After we finished cleaning the lodge I thought I'd better look around for a blip. We have let the steep banks develop into a wildflower meadow. The man strimmed a path around the edges today. 

Pilosella aurantiaca, this tawny hawkweed, is apparently an invasive species and is on the quarantine list in some countries. We didn't plant it, it just appeared a few years ago. I think it's lovely but now I'm left wondering what to do about it.
