70 Years Old....

The camera this was taken with, not the chicken.

Working through the job lots of old cameras I bought to resell on eBay - some are worth testing some film through to try and bump up the price. Others I might not have done, but they had a roll of film in. 4 of them to be exact, with three having shots already taken (that'll be interesting to develop).

The Kodak 66 Model III had a brand new roll in. It's a colour roll, but I've only got the chemicals (and the know how) to develop black and white. After reading online about it producing some nice effects / odd grain, I had nothing to lose. At the very least I can say in the listing that it 100% works!

Nice walk today north from Dunblane along the river, getting rid of the stress of the night before and this morning, when my father-in-law called at 9.45pm, but I missed it because of the awful reception here (I was listening to a podcast on the phone over wifi at the time, so the phone didn't even bother to let me know someone was calling, but told me half an hour later). By this time, calling back, hismobile appeared switched off, and the landline was just ringing out.

I tried to convince myself he'd pocket-dialed, and the phone being off suggested he had the wherewithal to do that after calling, so was probably okay. Finally got him at 7.55am this morning, whereupon I learned that he was calling about something that was supposed to be delivered, which hadn't been, and he couldn't understand the message he'd got, that he'd switched the phone off straight after, and then gone to bed and been asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Given he had a stroke just 6 months ago, I impressed on him the need to leave a message if he can't get hold of me, and is then going to switch his phone off. Not sure that'll go in...
