She's baaaack!!

A very 'in' day, washing the curtains and sanding our new-to-us coffee table. It was a much bigger job than we imagined, but we've stripped all the dark paint and varnish off, and rubbed oil into it. Lovely to see the different colours and grain now! Man was it messy to do though!!!
The girls went to a bbq this afternoon, and they're now at a sleepover at another friends!
I saw this wonderful woman, Juliette (she owned Nude with Chris)... She's on the island with her daughter for 1 month. Brilliant to catch up.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The smell of the church as I walked past to get sand paper. A mix of incense and oiled wood.
2) The hard work of sanding this table, and the reward of it looking nicer now.
3) Seeing Juliette! Lots of shared memories from the years she lived here. The third friend, Amanda, arrives tomorrow night.
