Walking machine

Mr Pandammonium made me get up at 2 am so I could drive him to RAF Wyton for the start of the Pathfinder March, which started 37 minutes before the crack of dawn (at 4:37 am); see extra.

I saw Mr Pandammonium off, then went back home to bed, getting up again for parkrun to not make a hash of the tokens again. I am not going to live last week down.

There were over 150 participants this morning, which is a good turnout for us. The conditions were good for running: cool, but not cold; not particularly breezy; dry underfoot.

Conditions were so good, in fact, that there were five personal bests in the top twelve finishers, including positions 1 and 2. Such excitement!

Mr Pandammonium finished it just after 5 pm in seventh place (see photo for him only yards/metres away from the end), not that it’s a race, out of about 150 walkers, and faster than last year. He is a walking machine!
