Piping Plover Chick

I wasn't sure I would have the opportunity to photograph a Piping Plover chick this trip, because they are just starting to hatch and can be difficult to spot.  With the help of some fellow photographers I spent time with a family of four one week olds, as they explored the beach looking for sand fleas and drinking the dew from the green beach vegetation (extra).
