It was sunny this morning but this afternoon has been unsettled with rain showers and thunderstorms. The rain is welcome, but hail not so much. So far so good! • The chive flowers are attracting a lot of attention. I purposely took a photo of this insect because I wanted to identify it. Many of them flutter about the yard and like yesterday I decided to find out more about it • Say hello to the black firefly, also known as woodland Lucy. This firefly is only active during the day and does not have a working lantern. How surprising! I thought all fireflies were nocturnal :) • After some much needed housework, we’re about to relax with a movie and a g&t before dinner. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! • Cheers!
