View from a hotel window

Early start for a trip up to Birmingham for a meeting.  It's the first in person meeting of this group since 2019 so it was good to catch up with a few friends. We met in a hotel.  Nice lunch and sticky jam doughnuts to combat the afternoon slump.  
Got an earlier train than expected.  It meant I had to play reserved seat roulette on the train but I did manage to stay in the same place for the whole journey.  Managed to do some knitting on the way up and back.  
Didn't make it back in time for bookgroup but did manage to send my thoughts on the book.
