I have the same birds visit my garden all the time. These greenfinch only very occasionally visited but they are now regular visitors along with the goldfinch as you can see. The clematis is Dr Ruppel and it has been flowering for weeks now. I blipped the same one flowering on the 13th of May. The small blue flower is alkanet it has very hairy leaves and some people think the blue forget me not type flower is attractive and a garden plant. It is a thug in my garden and I pull it out. It has very deep thick roots and is almost impossible to get rid of. I've been pulling it out for 20 years. As you can see unsuccessfully.  So weed or plant do you think?  It is a big plant too - 3 feet high.
