Coming up!

We headed up to the Art College this morning for a gander at the Degree Show. The usual mixed bag was on show, a few impressive artists but also a lot less so (in my philistine opinion), with a continued blurring of the lines and shrinking of the craft studies; I used to look forward to a large display from silversmith and jewellery makers, now almost nothing and of course glassmaking is long gone. But never mind, I liked the work by Maciej Kosc even if it’ll be in the back of my mind next time I’m digging in the allotment!
Had a good online catch-up this evening and great to see Arnie more like his old self. Thought we might hear Taylor Swift in the background but I had to open a back window for that and then it was way too cold. June? Feels like late autumn.
