Kawaakari

Another beautiful Japanese word - it means the glow of light on a river in the darkness. This was Plantsbrook, from the red bridge, when Mike and I managed a walk at the end of the day.

This same stream is concreted over through the middle of Sutton, and I always imagine how wonderful it would be to free it and allow it to be the centrepiece of the town.

Gratefuls:
- getting a structure for my sermons on Sunday (I really am out of practice) and Deb helping with the PP
- beautiful Beth calling in
- making chicken pilaf with pomegranate, using the zhoug (spicy coriander sauce from the Yemen, originally) that Andy gave me on Wednesday
