Robin’s Nest

Our (the favourite people, me and Bailey) accommodation for the next two nights: a lodge near Beverley as my birthday present from the favourites. And very nice it is too. Spacious and spotlessly clean with all we need for the next two nights, including a fenced in deck area which Bailey has claimed as his own already.

I wasn’t out of work quite as early as planned but we made good time getting here in time for Bailey’s tea. Our tea, including birthday cake, eaten before we went to find a track to walk / run / cycle tomorrow.

Work feels far away which is a good thing. It was a day of seventeen and a half thousand steps so the weekend is very much called for and will be enjoyed.
