Variable weather

Sunshine, clouds and showers. Thunder heard, but not seen, although Jussi had seen a flash at work. No hail or snow though. So far two millimetres of rain, although there may be more showers coming before midnight.

The rain is certainly good for the cereals and might still save the caraway. At least it looks like it's finally sprouting, although it's too early to say how even and dense it will be. The last bit of the grass mowed yesterday was harvested today before showers, so it was probably drier than the first load.

Spent some time picking stones in the morning and again in the afternoon. Almost done now. In between off to buy some seals for the rake. In the evening assembling it with Jussi, and we made good progress even though we had to disassemble one phase and start again after realizing the order to do it in the instructions was indeed the right one. One more trip to buy more stuff needed though before it will be ready, as I don't think we have the right kind of threadlocking adhesive to fix the last nuts on top of the gearcase.
