Morning coffee and chat was cancelled so with the weather set to deteriorate later in the morning I drove to Bowness for a wander and blip then up to Windermere for shopping. Just a few essentials as I’m still using food from last weekend and need to reduce stock in the freezer so it will be easier to defrost.

I did treat myself to something . . . not chocolate or wine but a bag of ‘dug today’ potatoes.
