Another day of good weather was forecast.

J,C and the little ones set off on the 10.30 bus to Elterwater to walk over to Slaters Bridge and back via Colwith Force to Skelwith.

I set off two hours later getting the bus to Skelwith and walking their route in reverse until we met.

That was near High Park where the tea garden was open so we enjoyed some well earned refreshments.
