Out of focus

Very out of focus but I sort of like that.... it's a quick blip of a Pat Austin rose (I think it is named after David Austin's mother). I love the colours- and even as it starts to fade it still looks beautiful. I think this is one of my favourite roses but I have planted it in the wrong place in the garden so it is staying as a very small rose bush as it doesn't get enough sun..... that or it really didn't recover well from floating around the garden for a few weeks during the 2007 floods.

The red roses climbing up the side of the house look great this year, so many, all full and long lasting...it's like walking down a corridor of natural perfume :-)
