Cruise Control

I've been teaching people to drive for over a decade now and I still absolutely love it. Today is test day for one of my learners.

It used to surprise me how differently each person would approach their driving test. Some are naturally nervous as the driving test is a really big deal for them, like today’s learner who sadly didn’t pass.

Others go into the driving test as if they’re on cruise control. Everything is calm and they are completely in control, like my previous learner who passed on his first attempt earlier this week.

One thing I do know however, the Lord helps me feel more like the latter in challenging times.

But I trust in you, O Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”
