I've had my old helmet for 9 years, but it was manufactured in 2013 so I probably should've replaced it before, especially as it's suffered minor bashes on rock several times. What really pushed me to buy a new one was the damage done to John's helmet when he fell in Yorkshire a few weeks ago. See extra.
