Lazier day
It was a day of farewells and hellos as 10 people left and 4 new people arrived in the late afternoon and evening.
4 of us decided not to do a long walk today but instead head into Drumnadrochit for a wee look around and a bite of lunch. It was very chilly this morning so I had to abandon my shorts and put on long trousers.
We had a lovely time in a fabulous wee gift shop where I bought a couple of pairs of earrings and Michelle purchased a tea light holder made from an a rather magnificent antler.
The pub wasn’t serving food but there was a fish and chip food truck outside and they were happy for us to sit inside with our food. While the fish looked lovely, I chose to have the locally caught wild haggis. Yum.
Spotted these doughnuts in the supermarket but wasn’t tempted!
Dinner tonight was make your own pizza but really was only assembling as Stuart had premade the dough and the tomato sauce so it was just a case of assembling each pizza from the array of toppings which we had swiftly chopped up. Each pizza only took a minute to cook in Stuart’s pizza oven and it was a delicious way to enjoy our last meal.
Somehow the evening flew by with much wine consumed and a very late finish around 2am.
