Wai-ariki Spa

We were given a voucher to Wai-ariki Spa in Rotorua by our daughter and son-in-law who recently lived with us for 6 months when they relocated from Sydney to NZ. As its my birthday we used the voucher today. A 2 hour luxurious experience. Not something we would ever have done off our own bat but we really enjoyed It.
We had a very yummy lunch at the restaurant at Scion (The Forestry Research building). I had Corn and kūmara (sweet potato) croquettes on whipped feta with halloumi and avocado and trimmed with pickled red onion. Very delicious.
