Lucy

Doug hasn’t been that great in the back department for the last few days along with nerve pain down his leg to his ankle (same same year in year out). An appointment with good friend (and ex colleague) Lucy was made for later this afternoon.  Then I got a text from her at 9am to say she had a cancellation at 9.45 could we make it.  I said yes, remembering it takes 35 minutes to drive down to Waimate.  We made it with 5 minutes to spare.

My collage is the nicely co ordinated colours in the waiting room.
Doug responds really well to acupuncture - Lucy is putting needles in his back, the other is needles in his leg (there are three, but only one can be seen here).

When I took the photos (I didn’t ask) she said “so, you’re still doing Blip then”.  She knows me so well….lots of photos over the years, I also took her wedding photos 10 years ago.
As can be seen from her uniform, apart from a very accomplished physiotherapist and acupuncturist, she is a fully qualified animal physiotherapist as well.
An absolute gem.

When we arrived home friend oldTimer was waiting for us….spent a pleasant couple of hours in her company.

Then sitting in the sunshine doing not much, with one eye on the French Open….its been a while since I’ve done that.
Have a lovely weekend friends.
