Time To get Going . . . Tom Petty

It was a pretty day for driving down the North Island.  There was fog south of Rotorua but just before Taupo the sun broke through and Lake Taupo looked a cold winter blue.  The volcanoes were clear as we crossed the Desert Road.  The extras are a new thermal power plant we passed just before Taupo.  The traffic was light and we are now in a motel near our son's house.  We will see Finn this evening and tomorrow before we get the ferry in the afternoon.
