Queensferry Harbour

I dropped Marian off to meet up with Frances this morning then went on to South Queensferry. The rain poured down on my way there but by the time I arrived it had stopped. I took my time wandering along the shore and into old South Queensferry. My blip was taken at Queensferry harbour as I was looking for a different angle than anything I'd taken before and I've added an extra from east of the bridge with a train crossing.

When Marian was looking for accommodation for this trip she struggled to find hotels with any space  for us so we've ended up in a more expensive hotel than we'd usually use. We discovered why today. It seems it's the Taylor Swift effect. She's in town for a concert on Saturday so it's all the Swifties traveling from afar!
