St. Mary's Church, Kirby Lonsdale
On our way back from the lake district, we stopped in the market town of Kirby Lonsdale for a coffee and a wander around.
I took a few photos, but the best one is of St. Mary's Church. It is a fine building, the oldest parts of which are Norman and date from the 12th century.
We wandered along to Ruskin's view, only to discover that it has been closed since late 2021. This is due to the footpath becoming unstable from erosion of the river bank below. There is a petition underway to save the footpath.
