Tortugas Gigante

Today we visited some of the Galapagos' most famous denizens -- the Galapagos Giant Tortoises in the highlands of Santa Cruz.  They seemed to be everywhere we looked, lumbering oh, so slowly but purposefully towards .... only they knew what!

Later this afternoon, we will visit a Giant Tortoise breeding center where we will meet some new hatchlings.  Afterwards, it's back to the ship for a Ceviche cooking class!
