Lake Moraine

We happened upon this scene at about 10:00 PM tonight after having dinner in Lake Louise Village. We are staying in a lovely cabin just outside of town, not too far from this lake. When I saw this view, I quickly began to snap, hand held trying to keep steady.

Our train dropped us off in Jasper this afternoon where we rented a car and drove the Icefield Parkway, one of the most beautiful drives anywhere. It winds through Jasper National and Banff National parks with views of numerous glaciers. When I get home I will have to post more images.

Tomorrow (which is actually today) because I am posting late, it is a miserable rainy day. Next challenge!
