Dahlia

The plant pots have all been planted up. Mr M is in charge (of course) and has opted for just geraniums and begonias this year. He’s fed up of our wet summers destroying the petunias and busy Lizzies. I’m not sure how I feel about this; I prefer the mix of colours that a variation of plants brings. He’s also not keen on dahlias - he says the slugs are too partial to them!
So I have taken matters into my own hands (unusual for me, because I’m not a gardener) and bought, planted, composted, watered and slug pelleted one dahlia plant.
We’ll see how it does. Mr M will probably be vindicated!
