Keeping the flags flying.

Only Vic & myself at the gym this morning, and we did go for a coffee afterwards. He won't be there for a fortnight, as he has other commitments. I walked into town afterwards, and saw a few ex servicemen, wearing their medals, who had been at the service at the cenotaph in Bridgend.  I noticed the commemorative   flags flying outside the post office, although I had to wait ages for the flag to unfold  in the right direction.  We  watched the D-Day landings on BBC 1 last night and we thought the war graves all lit up was so moving, and also the Spitfire in the sky in Portsmouth afterwards was wonderful.
