Quaking grass

Some of these pretty little grasses appeared in the border so I've snapped them before removing to the bin!  They might take over otherwise.
The macro gives great detail against a twirl.
Feeing human again - been out to lunch - belated celebration for Terri's birthday on the 3rd! Very pleasant and so good to be out in sunshine.
All the coverage, both tv and radio, on the 80th anniversary of D-Day has been exceptional.  Tears flowed easily. I can not imagine how brave and scared those youngsters were! Having grandsons of the 'right' age I can't conceive of them heading out like those lads did 80 years ago.
