Upholstery class this morning. I was working on the arms (with patterned material) and had a couple of problems. Ideally the pieces should have been cut so that is they are a mirror image of each other. However the horizontal pattern isn’t symmetrical so it was impossible to do. The pattern looks random though so hopefully it will look ok. The other problem is that the white backing shows through when the fabric is folded over. We have a possible solution to that but of course it involves more work and I need some buckram which N had to order. This meant I ran out of things to do so left early . It gave me some time to tidy up before L and H came for our fundraising meeting. I supplied cake- see blip. After they'd left I tidied up and did a bit of bridge revision. It clearly didn't help as we didn't do as well as last week - 7th out of 9. Oh well…
