Albertine.and Ouch that hurts!
I first had an Albertine rose when I lived in Hertfordshire back in the 1970s. I really liked it and bought another one when we moved into this house. It is still one of my favourites. It's a very pretty rose. The buds are dark pink and the flowers are lighter. The only downside for me is it has no scent. I do like my roses to have a good scent. But I forgive Albertine, it has bloomed for over 20 years in this garden.
On other matters, it seems I have sciatica! I am going to a physiotherapist tomorrow to get help in knowing all the right exercises and other activities to reduce the pains the condition brings. It's not that bad but I don't want to give it the chance of getting worse.
