Aubergine Flower

The greenhouse in Pollok Park was open this morning as the gardeners were working on the vegetable plots. Keta and I walked through and I spotted this rather large purple flower ... fortunately there was a label naming the plant as an aubergine.
The flower is very similar to a potato flower but is much larger.

The case for my iPad needed replacing so I sent for two yesterday and hope that they will last me until I can no longer use that invaluable piece of tech.
