Walled Garden

A fun day out starting with a very pleasant breakfast stop in Battle. After several detours to reach our intended destination of Great Dixter, the car park was full, there was a coach trip and too many cars parked on the roadside. We decided it would be too people-y for us.

Plans abandoned, we found quite by accident a walled garden with a cafe, shop and plant sales. There were hardly any visitors there so plenty of room to enjoy the plants and sunshine.
