Canada Geese

Today I went after the local family of Canada Geese.  Really for such large and often rather unpopular birds they do have remarkably cute and funny chicks (more in extras).  There are only two of these left and I didn't see the family early enough to know how many hatched originally, but anyway today I enjoyed watching them.  The parents, particularly mum, were guarding then very carefully.

I spent a lot of the rest of the day doing more tidying in the garden.
