Moth Eaten

Spotted resting on the outside of our kitchen window.

Managed to get my camera out before it flew off. I had the lens resting against the inside of the window to steady it….

It seems to stand out well with the blurry grass background (please ignore the specks of dust on the glass).

It appears to be missing a chunk of a wing (to the left of its body in the photo).

Interestingly Google lens identifies it as a winter moth…ho hum…
