Building Mural

This morning I had my permanent crown put in place at the dentist’s office and am pleased that is now behind me and it has time to settle before my trip to see my parents.

Since I was already most of the way downtown, I decided it was a good opportunity to drive down Castle Street and take photos of some of the buildings that had painted murals on them.

This was once an area that was run down and starting to be one of the impoverished areas of the city. A few years ago a real effort was make to make this an artsy area and bring the street back to life. I have to say that years ago, this was an area I would have avoid but now enjoy driving down to see what ingenuity has come to life lately.

Fed and played with Havoc in the evening as Jim was not home.
