New book

After setting some tasks for Martin, who is helping us with our garden, R and I went down to the DLC to play Padel with Evie and Paul. We were not too bad but they won most of the games. We agreed we shall try and play every week. Like us they are refurbishing a house they have recently bought so we have plenty of renovation stories to share.
When we got back home, had some lunch. A visited on her way to the dentist and I then went out for gardening supplies. R had book club in the evening so after I had a further trip to the DLC I started a new book myself - Affinity by Sarah Waters. So far, so good.
