Pool Cool

I captured CC showing a bit of collected cool mood and a bit of nice light as a cloud was passing by. A good portion of the weekend was spent in the pool and extraordinary to see how CC's confidence is growing from year to year.

Last weekend was a reintroduction to the big pool after some initial resistance. This weekend I had bought a couple pool snakes (those long hose type floats) and it was nothing but the big pool for CC. She totally took off and even followed us into the deep end once. She is also wading into the sea up to her waist. I am so happy and proud!!

Progression was something like this...
year 0 - toddling along by the water edge and not enjoying the water too much
year 1 - refused to touch the sand, only playing from the lounge chair
year 2 - back to walking on sand, but preference for pool
year 3 - FULL ON!! I hope to get her floating/swimming on her own by the end of summer if we keep this up.
