Dietes iridioides

I have this growing in our garden and never knew the proper name. It was a bud this morning but I when tout tonight at dusk and it had opened up fully.
It is commonly named African iris, fortnight lily, and morea iris, is a species of plant in the family Iridaceae that is native to Southern Africa.
