love-in pt 2

The galahs involved in the 'tree hugging' blip of 28th June (apologies for being such a dud as to getting the link buso sorted) have set up house in the same tree.

So it is 'head down bum up' for one of them, sorting out the nesting spot with a lot of clearing out of rubbish while the other preens on a nearby branch.
Watched them for half an hour and both birds shared the 'house reno' duties.

I am SO looking forward to see what eventuates up on the 10m level on this skyscraper tree.
